Everywhere I go, peoples always ask me what kind of phone I have. It's a XDA Exec. When I had a Sidekick Color, all of a sudden mad people asked me bout the phone and picked it up. Same thing happened again when I picked up the Treo 600. So I figure I had to catch a phone more original and more pricey. I picked this up in the begining of the year. Read about it.

Straight from the words of Cros....
Aight so I dont know if anyone knows or cares but I been hard at work busting my ass getting ready to open a second store in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego about 20 minutes north of where we currently are doing business out of. This new shop will be mostly clothing we will however be selling DVD's and some mix CD's but not as much as we do in the downtown store since our neigbors will be Access Music which pretty much have the music on lock. So we will be focusing more on clothing. We will be pushing forward on our own line Armory and just wanted to show you some designs by some fellow bboys Teel Steel and Ewok. Both cats as most should know also are dope Graff Artists as well. So it was only right to collaborate with them and bring you some designs....You guys are basically the first peeps to see them besides people that are part of my staff. So hopefully you like they should be out in about 3 weeks and the new store should be open possibly earlier then that. Also these designs will be available online as well. Thanks for everyones continued support with Freestyle Session, Armory and every other endevour I've been a part of throughout the years....
EWOK X ARMORY in white only
Teel Steel X ARMORY MASSIVE available in two colors

also here are some designs that will be coming out around the same time from my homie Severe One of Top 2 Bot'm which is more San Diego drivern being its the Padre Friar turned bboy but Im sure anyone from anywhere would dig it....

More news about the Beenie/Bounty Killer beef on Jamaica-Star.

When selectors play selectively THEY DO IT for the love of the music, but what will selectors do when artistes and their cronies physically or verbally attack them if they do not play the 'right' songs?
Recently, there has been much tension that has stemmed from a lyrical feud between deejays Bounty Killer and Beenie Man, so much so that selectors aligned to these two deejays have in recent times been verbally or physically assaulted. At one of the Uptown Mondays show while Foota Hype (aligned to Bounty Killer) was at the turntables, Beenie Man went and took the microphone and confronted him, accusing him of not playing any of his songs. Beenie Man spoke for more than five minutes over the microphone, telling how he had carried Foota all around the island with him before he became popular and that he had now become ungrateful. The confrontation was captured on DVD. Bounty Killer also warned selector, Hotta Ball (aligned to Beenie Man), who was at the same event, not to come within a certain distance of his Oakland apartment residence and separate from that Uptown Mondays show, Hotta Ball was physically attacked by men at another dance where he played.
Hotta Ball believes that selectors will now have to watch what they play. "Definitely if yuh play a certain artiste more than a certain artiste den dem get offensive, cause mi still play every artiste. Is a negative ting dis, cause a nuh suh Bob Marley did do it. Selectors mus play fi dem free will, dem nuh fi mek artiste tell dem wah fi play, dem fi play fi di people, di crowd, di patrons and di man dem (artistes) fi jus leave dem personal bedroom ting out a di music an the music will be better," Hotta Ball said. Hotta Ball says the reason some selectors become aligned with artistes is simply because they "have a good relation". "For instance if a artiste guh a one stage show an nuh have a band, den him selecta jus roll in wid him an play him track dem, an him (artiste) feel more comfortable da way deh." more...

Some old news about Beenie Man and Bounty Killer. Peep.

'THE WARLORD', BOUNTY Killer, has reached his wit's end and he is now more cross, angry and miserable than ever before when it comes to tolerating his long- time rival Beenie Man.
The deejay said the lyrical feud between himself and Beenie Man has now escalated beyond just mere lyrics, as it has now become personal and could end up in a similiar situation to that which happened between the United States rappers Tupac and Biggie.
ADDITIONAL WEAPON
Earlier this year it became public that Beenie Man was engaged to the warlord's ex-girlfriend, D'Angel. Bounty believes this union is being used as an additional weapon in the lyrical war between the two.
"Him a seh all some tings yah now weh a guh cause fight, cause him a seh certain ting weh, a nuh question yuh a guh question it, yuh haffi stand trial, because there is certain ting a man can seh bout yuh an yuh can deejay back, but when a man seh certain tings, yuh tek action," Bounty Killer told THE STAR while referring to his past relationship with D' Angel.
"When a man a sing song 'gainst yuh, yuh tek lyrical action, when a man a mek allegation, a seh derogatory tings or personal tings musical different from personal. Just like if a man sing seh mi wicked dan Bounty Killer, him caan sing like me an my guns dem nuffa dan him, dat nuh nutt'n, but if a man a guh seh Killer a b....man an him a p.... hole an dem bwoy deh a b.. cat an ray ray, a different ting dat," he said.
"A nuh lyrics dat...yuh haffi mek a man know him should not seh dat, that is like tumping below di belt an there is no administration or body of people who come together an seh well it look like a wrong, inna competition everybody do wah dem waan do an some man always cross di line an nuh business. That's why yuh si mi leave the clash ting," Bounty Killer said.
"Yuh hear di topic weh him a call mi name wid, a nuh like Beenie jus do a song an seh tell Killer dis or ray ray, him a use di girl (D' Angel) an him an me, suh wah me fi do, deejay back bout him an di girl an me, that's not my topic, an him know, a nuh like seh mi did even a deejay bout him an di girl an him have all right to respond, he chose to start that topic, an that was his intention, to exploit she to get to me, but tru she stupid and vulnerable she neva realise wah him a do ar," Killer said.
IT A GET PERSONAL NOW
He added, "It a get personal now, because when him guh pick up my ex-girl, a personal ting dat, plus when yuh a seh tings bout she an me...yuh nuh hear him seh dem get heart attack, tru yuh galfren hot an si down inna mi lap, but dat neva have nutt'n fi do wid me cause him neva call nuh name, but him get bright now till him start seh Bounty Killer yuh a mad caa mi breed D'Angel. Wa me fi guh back guh seh, no mi nah mad tru yuh breed Angel, me fi guh sing bout D'Angel? Suh yuh a seh som'n weh yuh know mi cannot even take up, an if mi tek it up mi look like eeediat fi a sing bout gyal weh mi lef an you deh wid, how my life continue wid she when mi lef ar?"
TENSE ATMOSPHERE
Bounty says the tense atmosphere between the two of them has changed for the worse, as at a recent Uptown Mondays, "him seh Killa, yuh caan stop mi from call yuh name mi a bad man, yuh caan tump mi inna mi mouth, him waan die before him stop seh my name him seh, an mi neva hear him seh him modda name, him forget his mother's name an he remembers mine so much, every ting a Bounty di man love mi an can't get di chance fi express it, because mi shun him, suh him woulda kill himself fi get mi attention. All those allegations an den yuh going to go on stage an say the reason why Angel lef mi a tru she tired a di tongue, dat mean seh a tru mi a punk mek yuh a seh dem ting deh."
Bounty says, "di tension a guh wicked, when a competition a gwaan, it different from when a personal issue a gwaan, caa hear wah, him caan be no more competition, him flop..."
When THE STAR had spoken to Beenie Man in an earlier interview, 'The Doctor' said he is no troublemaker, as he says Bounty is the one going around calling his name.
In referring to the Uptown Mondays show Beenie says, "mi neva tek D'Angel from Bounty Killer, him lose ar all by himself. A him guh pon di mic an seh bout some p.... hole a hype because dem have a one dun out bicycle an fallen angel an mi jus guh answer him, a him first guh deh guh hold di mic..."
Beenie also added, "him (Bounty) a walk 'roun pon every stage show an a trace an a call up mi name an a call up D'Angel name, a who a di troublemaker? Mi nuh memba Bounty Killer man, Bounty Killer is a waste of my time, a me a run di place. Him fi jus accept dat, all him haffi do a run down mi lead an try catch mi back, a suh mi ting set up."
Regardless of this Bounty warns that Beenie is living dangerously.
SERIOUSER' FANS
"If him seh certain tings, my fans dem a di 'seriouser' fans dem, everybody know a girl like him, but di people dem weh call dem self rude bwoys an gangsters like Bounty... Suh di real defenders of the earth a guh stand up wid me as a defender, suh if you a guh look like a offender to the defender dem a guh offend yuh, an him suppose to think about that...if him seh anything wrong my fans are going to take it personal, an dem wi lose dem way an don't even realise wah dem a do."
Bounty says this rivalry has been ongoing for 14 years now. "Him a guh di extra mile an a dat did cause di Tupac and Biggie war, when time Tupac did seh him f... Faith (Biggie's wife), suh a di same route Beenie a tek. Tupac guh sing song bout it, a di exact same ting Beenie a do him neva check di history, cause yuh nuh waan end up like none a dem, a him a do exactly wah Tupac do, so I guess him stupid, him waan end up like Tupac," the Killer said.

What's good! Damn I need a real camera. So much stuff happened this weekend and the past week. But my ass could not take any footage of it. So I have about 4 or 5 people I need to chase down to get the pics from. First of all, finally got pics from Memorial Day from Cros. Peep.

If you in SD. Be here on sundays.
Also on the dancehall tip, Thursday June 15, i'll be playing with Stone Love. That's right. Reminds me of a line from the movie Coming to America. "Hey, I started out mopping the floor just like you guys. But now... now I'm washing lettuce. Soon I'll be on fries; then the grill. And pretty soon, I'll make assistant manager, and that's when the big bucks start rolling in." So now I finally get to play with the big dogs. Peep the Coming to America cover and the Stone Love flier.

Gotta throw in another Coming to America quote. "Bark like a dog. Woof Woof. Now bark like a big dog. Woooof Woooof." The chick hoppin on one leg, can't get enough of that. For more info on more dancehall happenings in SD, go to San Diego Reggae Clubs. The crew (Shotta Crew) had Sizzla's dj, DJ Shortman repping The Heavy Hitters and Shortman Movement come thru to their after hours spot at the Coca Cola Building last night. He killed it. He's also comming thru tonight to my sunday spot to do a set. Also comming up is the Brown and White party. Peep
Here's a pic from the monday show Cros and I do at Earthbound Radio. Please tune!!! Big things gonna be comming from Earthbound this year. Webcam is also up on their site. You can watch us and hear us spin at the same time on the net. Word.
Also this week my homie Skratchmark came thru from the bay. If you dont know, He's the top dj in Manila right now. Throwing parties with his crew Steak Productions. Like I said earlier, I havent tracked down all the pics from the weekend so here are some pics of Skratchmark in the PI.

Yup that's Rodman.

On friday night Skratchmark and I went out to Long Beach so he can play at Free Up. Peep the Flier. It's every Friday.

Got to meet Dj What from Channel Rock Movement & Beat Junkies. And also his manager Tiffany. Real good peoples. Oh yeah, Skratchmark beat some chick at a butterfly contest. Hillarious.

Yesterday went to the Armory to get more vinyl from the 20,000 record collection Cros bought as mentioned before. Djs need to hit up the spot and get your dig on.
Picked up:
Les Nubians - Tabou
Les Nubians - Makeda
Digable Planets - 9th Wonder
Jill Scott - Love Rain
Mary J. Blige - You don't have to worry (Picture Cover)
De La Soul - Ego Trippin
Boogie Monsters - Honeydips in Gotham
Mood - Karma
And tons of other tracks.

Yup. Some old records right there. Just a few I had to pick up from the internet. I'm still on the new jack tip. Getting doubles of all my new jack swing. This week I finally completed doubles of:

Aaron Hall - Dont be afraid
Today - Why you getting funky on me
Guy - Fantasy

And a bunch more are complete doubles. I guess The Beat 100.3 in LA switched to be a classic r&b and soul station a few weeks ago. This week for the first time in my life I heard Tony Toni Tone's - Just me & u on the radio. Those who dont remember, that was from the Boys in the Hood soundtrack.

Also on their mixshow called "Saturday House Party" They started with Christopher Williams - Don't wake me i'm dreaming. That's from the New Jack City soundtrack.

Did they execute the dude that wrote the movie Bulworth? Damn it's garbage. Can't sleep and i'm forced to watch it. Warren Beatty trying to flow. What? May 28, 2006 - 3:15am

PAYDAY! Got some dough for this weekend so I went to the Armory. Cros told me last week that he picked up a used collection of about 20,000 records. Got damn thats a lot. So I decided to raid the 1000 that he had at the store. Peoples seriously need to hit up the shop and get your dig on. The pic is from my phone so it's kinda shady. But if you do look close, you can see that I picked up the Edie Brickell and the New Bohemian's album. You beat heads will know that the joint called "What I am" on the album is the original sample of Brand Nubians classic joint "Slow Down". I been looking for this album for awhile now and finally got it at the Armory.
Also picked up:
South Central Cartel - Gang Stories
2pac - Toss it up
Jay Z - A Million and one Questions
Pharoah Monch - Simon Says
Mary J. Blige - Be Happy
Black Moon - Who got the props
Tim Dogg - Fuck Compton
Roots - You got me
E40 - Rappers Ball
And a bunch of other crack. Just stuff to complete my doubles. Oh yeah I had to get Monica and Brandy's - The Boy is mine. No I ain't gonna play that shit. But I got it because that was the joint that DJ Nando used way back in the day to beat me at a CSL dj battle back in I think 98. I got second place and he got first in the beat juggling category. Anyways, when I left the Armory I forgot to take pics of the spot while I was in there. So I just decided to pick up the pic below from Cros. Dookie chain and Cazal's.

Oh the Armory also got some new gear in. Peep.
I had to pick up that Tupac Juice Tee. So go there. Aight?? So after the Armory I finally went to 5&ADIME to see what Jay got going on. Peep Jay.

That's why my old ass is watching BETJ. Weekdays they got the classic R&B videos up on there. Classic Video Soul episodes in effect and on the weekend they got Island Lime. Island Lime is the only time I can actually watch some new and old dancehall/reggae videos also some soca joints. This past weekend they interviewed JR Kelly. Asked him the difference between Roots Reggae and Reggae. He easily said that there is no difference. They are the same. The only difference is Dancehall & Reggae. Plain and simple easy explanation.
